B.A.L.O.R.A Killeen's own resort

I found a wonderful treasure and it called B.L.O.R.A.. I have been to Belton Lake many of times but not once has anyone mentioned to me the fact that they have this wonderful outdoor recreational park on the other side of it.

So my husband comes home and tells me that we have to participate in what is called "Mandatory Fun" it's a military thing. So I say, "Fine! But if it's boring you owe me big time." Now, "Mandatory Fun" is when every one from a certain unit come together to hand out awards, eat, and play games. I didn't know this at all.

So we head to the lake. I am dressed in a sundress and sandals, and I mention this because there are volleyball sand pits. Basketball courts, enough room for two or three football games side to side. So I ended up not being able to participate in anything. I just sat on the side lines. Listening,commenting, and smack talking other companies. All in all it was a wonderful time.

So we listen to awards play games and eat. That is my experience there. I have look up some extra information so I can plan more trips there. They have a lot to explore.

 B.L.O.R.A. has a very competitive mountain biking course for beginner as well as advance riders. It has lots of nature and places where you can stop and smell the flowers. A nice ZEN type place to keep in shape.
